Arsenal boss Wenger disappointed not to face West Ham

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was sorry to miss their scheduled Boxing Day clash with West Ham United.

Arsenal will be fresher than Newcastle United today as their game with West Ham was postponed due to a Tube strike.

Wenger said: "Yes, we were disappointed not to play. But the players had a rest on Christmas Day.

"Now is a crucial time to get consistency. For me, there is no team really dominating the league.

"Manchester United are the most efficient team but they concede a lot of goals as well. The rest of us aim to be in the pack but it is down to consistency."
