Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says England fullback Kieran Gibbs could be back this week.
Gibbs could be back in the first-team squad in time for the weekend's FA Cup third round tie against Leeds United.
"Kieran Gibbs is very close," Wenger told Arsenal TV.
"He could be in full training again on Tuesday and there is a little chance he is available for Saturday."
