Arsenal boss Unai Emery is ready to try again for Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega.

The Mirror says Emery is ready to shake-up Arsenal's transfer policy with another move for a thirty-something.

Arsenal boss Emery is targeting Sevilla's Argentina midfielder Ever Banega, 30, as a ready made replacement for Aaron Ramsey who is set to leave on a free transfer.

A deal would have been unthinkable under former boss Arsene Wenger but Emery wants a high energy midfielder to be central to his tactics and formation.

The fact that he is over 30 does not matter as he wants ready made players and it comes after Arsenal have already signed ageing players like Greek defender Sokratis, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
