Arsenal manager Unai Emery has poured cold water on rumors linking the club with a move for Sevilla midfielder Steven Nzonzi.

Given Emery has worked with the player in the past, it was believed he would be chasing him as Arsenal manager.

But it appears Emery does not see Nzonzi as a target. It may have something to do with the signing of Lucas Torreira from Sampdoria, as the two play in a similar position.

He was questioned about the player in his press conference and he said: "I know him but we haven't made a move for him."

It appears Arsenal are close to completing their transfer window, with the manager suggesting one more incoming transfer was possible.
