Arsenal boss Unai Emery intends to play Mesut Ozil in away games.
The Mirror says Ozil is set to return to the Arsenal side for away games on the Champions League qualification run-in after convincing Emery he can be a team player for him.
With his Gunners in a four-way battle with Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester United over the final two places behind Liverpool and Manchester City, Emery is poised to give playmaker Ozil his first start on the road since Boxing Day when they visit Everton.
Remarkably, the former Germany international — Arsenal's highest-paid, and arguably most talented, player — hasn't started a Premier League match north of London for seven months.
Emery has put his absences on their travels down down to a variety of reasons, from tactical decisions to injury. But he says Ozil, who has battled illness as well as knee and back problems, has now learned to play more than one role when he tweaks his tactical plans.
