Arsenal boss Unai Emery left Mesut Ozil out of his squad for today's clash at West Ham.
The German has missed the last three matches with a knee problem but was due to return at the London Stadium.
But Ozil was nowhere to be seen as Arsenal announced their starting line-up as he failed to even make the bench.
It is suggested he was fit to feature but was left out by boss Emery for tactical reasons.
There was better news on the injury front regarding Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal though after both returning to training.
