Arsenal boss Unai Emery has blasted rumours he wants to sell Matteo Guendouzi.

There's been claims that Emery would be willing to sell the midfielder to PSG to add to his limited summer transfer budget.

"I am surprised by the speculation. I do not want this," said Emery after the victory in the Europa League.

"He develops the way we want him. He has a lot of potential and is someone with a lot of quality. With him we have quality in the midfield, but sometimes we also need some more strength.

"But he is very important to us and he is constantly performing. I see him making a lot of progress."
