Arsenal boss Arteta tells Guendouzi he's up for sale

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has told Matteo Guendouzi he's up for sale.

Arsenal tried to offload Guendouzi in the summer as they initially offered the Frenchman to Atletico Madrid in part-exchange for Thomas Partey, only to eventually loan him out to Hertha Berlin.

Football Insider says Arteta has no interest in bringing Guendouzi back into the fold.

Their report adds that the Gunners have even slashed their asking price by £5million to attract potential buyers.

Guendouzi was valued at £30m last summer but Arsenal are now prepared to accept any offers in the region of £25m to get him off their books.

Arsenal could still struggle to draw in that amount for a player who will enter the final year of his contract at the end of this season.
