Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided a small update on the fitness of Hector Bellerin.

The Gunners boss was asked whether his Spanish right back would be available in the coming weeks.

The 24-year-old has suffered injury problems all season and has been restricted to only three Premier League starts this term.

Arteta told the club website that Bellerin was closer to a return, but he was not quite ready for selection.

He said: Hector is a little bit better.

"He trained partially with the team today, but he's still not there."
