​Arsenal boss Arteta pleased with Martinelli in Man Utd defeat

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was pleased with youngster Gabriel Martinelli against Manchester United.

The Gunners suffered a surprise 3-2 defeat to the Red Devils, who were managed by caretaker Michael Carrick, in the Premier League on Thursday at Old Trafford.

Martinelli was a bright spark all game, providing an assist for Arsenal's second goal, scored by Martin Odegaard.

Post-game, Arteta said about Martinelli: "He looked a threat.

"He had a big chance in the first half.

"He had some extremely good moments."
