Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta hopes Alexandre Lacazette's goal against Wolves could be a turning point for the Frenchman.
Until Saturday, Lacazette had not scored since March but he rectified that by bagging the second goal in a 2-0 win for Arsenal at Molineux.
“He really needed that. When I asked him to come on, within three seconds he was ready to jump on the pitch," he said.
“And when you do that, things like this happen. He had a great movement of the ball, a great touch and a great finish.
“We have to give him more opportunities to be able to do that, but I am so happy for him because he deserves that the way he trains and plays ever day."
Lacazette sealed a victory for Arsenal which began when Bukayo Saka struck minutes before the end of the first-half.
The victory means Arsenal move up to seventh in the Premier League.
