Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is delighted Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has committed his future to the club.
Gunners captain Aubameyang used his programme notes ahead of the FA Cup clash with Leeds to play down speculation over a move away from the club.
The striker was not involved against Leeds due to illness but Arteta addressed his comments in his post-match press conference.
“I was thrilled about that and really happy," the Arsenal boss said.
“His commitment since the day I walked through that door has been phenomenal, the work he has been putting in, his attitude around the place with the players.
“He has done it (ended speculation), I do it, I want him here and I am so happy with him, so hopefully that is the end of the story."
