Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is not impressed with youngster Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

The winger has not met the standards that Arteta is laying down for the whole squad to follow.

He has not played in the league since Hector Bellerin's return from injury at the end of January.

The Mirror suggests it is because he has fallen foul of the manager for his training displays.

The report claims the 22-year-old often shows up late to training, and a lack of discipline is something Arteta will not tolerate.

He wants everyone in the first team on the same page, and any player who is not willing to shape up is not welcome.
