Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta feels William Saliba will need a settling in period next season.

The former St Etienne defender is currently training with the Gunners and will be available to Arteta next term.

Arteta said, "I know how difficult it is to play as a central defender in the Premier League.

"The demand is really, really high. He had a very positive season last year, but this season has been very difficult, due to injuries. We know where the potential is, but realising it every three days at the highest level is something else."
