Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta says Mesut Ozil may not play again this season.

While acknowledging the midfielder is fully fit and training with the squad, Arteta offered little encouragement over the prospect making his squad.

"Mesut is ready and is training with the team, but I can't say yet if he will play this season," said Arteta.

"At the moment, the situation remains the same. Let's see if any changes come."

The Gunners host new champions Liverpool tonight.
