Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta can't rule out a ban for Matteo Guendouzi after his bust-up with Brighton matchwinner Neal Maupay.
Tempers flared during the Gunners' 2-1 loss at Amex Stadium on Saturday after Maupay collided with Bernd Leno, injuring the goalkeeper's knee in the process.
The commotion between players following the full-time whistle appeared to ignite when Guendouzi grabbed Maupay.
When asked if he feared a possible ban for the midfielder, Arteta replied: “I don't know. I haven't seen the actions.
“I have seen a lot of players just talking and getting together, but I didn't know what happened.
“There is frustration at the end because we threw the game away. That is probably a reaction that can happen. But I always believe a player has no intention to get somebody else injured."
