The issue has come into the spotlight in the wake of England boss Sam Allardyce being secretly filmed discussing ways to evade strict FA rules on third party ownership.
Wenger said he wanted to see a worldwide ban on third party ownership.
“Third party ownership should not be allowed," he said.
“I fight against it for a long, long time. The clubs should possess 100 per cent all of their players."
He insisted in his 20-year stint at Arsenal there were no skeletons in the closet when it came to transfers.
“In a proper way I could write a book on it because I made about 300 transfers and every transfer is a story. I speak for myself and our fans can sleep without any problem - that is all I can say."
