Arsenal have been encouraged in their interest in Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard.
Sport1 says Edouard is no longer a potential Erling Haaland replacement for Borussia Dortmund.
The Celtic centre forward will command a hefty price tag. As a result, Dortmund have pulled out of the race, despite viewing him as an ideal successor to their striker position should Haaland move on.
The Norwegian might have only signed for the club six months ago, but his outstanding performances and goalscoring rate could see him leave the club, with Manchester United and Real Madrid reportedly interested.
This could open the door for Arsenal. With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang possibly on his way out this summer, the Gunners are interested in bringing Edouard to the Emirates
