Arsenal boost as Lacazette cleared to face Rennes

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has had his Europa League ban cut making him available for their clash with Rennes.

The Frenchman was handed a three-match ban following a straight red card during Arsenal's 1-0 defeat away at BATE Borisov during their last-32 first leg meeting.

However, having sat out the second leg of that tie and 3-1 defeat in France last week, Arsenal have seen an appeal reduce the suspension to just two games.

Despite Lacazette's return, Arsenal will be without defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos who was sent of following two yellow cards during the first leg against Rennes.

Having come from behind in the last-32, Arsenal must once again triumph at the Emirates in order to reach the quarter finals.
