Arsenal board make Unai Emery decision

Arsenal's board have no immediate plans to remove manager Unai Emery.

The Independent says there will be no movement on Emery until the end of the season.

But it is likely that they will not take the option to extend Emery's contract with the Spaniard having a break clause in his deal at the end of the season.

Arsenal dropped points on Saturday after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang put the hosts in front for their 1-1 draw with Wolves.

And Emery was left frustrated with the performance that saw his team drop further off the top of the table.

He said: “I'm disappointed with the result above all because I think the players tried, the players worked, and the most difficult thing against Wolves is to score the first goal and take advantage in the result."
