Arsenal blow as Fabianski sidelined for three weeks

Arsenal keeper Lukasz Fabianski has been ruled out for three weeks after suffering a thigh injury against Liverpool. Wednesday night's match in the Carling Cup was Fabianski's first of the season after knee surgery.

He lasted the full 90 minutes and later expressed his delight at being back in the side.

Discussing the blow to the Polish goalkeeper, boss Arsene Wenger said on Arsenal's official website: "We lost Lukasz Fabianski with a thigh injury.

"He will be out for three weeks. Of course, it is big disappointment - because he has just come back from injury."
