Jonathan David is set to snub interest from Arsenal to sign with Real Betis, according to reports.

The 20-year-old is one of Europe's hottest young prospects after starring with Gent over the past two seasons.

Estadio Deportivo says Betis have convinced the Canadian to move to Sevilla in a deal worth €15m.

The news comes a blow to the Gunners, who had eyed David as a potential replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The star striker continues to be linked with an exit from the Emirates as his current contract expires in 2021.
