Athletico Paranaense midfielder Bruno Guimaraes admits he's on the brink of a move to Europe.

The 22-year-old Brazilian has attracted attention from a number of top sides around the world, with Arsenal and Benfica keen on snapping him up.

Arsenal's sporting director Edu has reportedly met with representatives for Guimaraes in London, with the Gunners keen to complete a deal before a bidding war ensues.

Providing an update on the situation, Guimaraes told SporTV: “What I asked my agents is that the transfer be good for me and Athletic Paranaense. I know that clubs are in talks... it's difficult to choose. They are all great teams."
