Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will not have to battle against club powerbrokers over proposed overseas tours.
The Mirror says Wenger has been reassured that he will have the final say over the club's pre-season plans next summer after a lucrative foreign tour was suggested at a board meeting to help the club's global image.
Stan Kroenke is keen to expand into the US while Wenger has always snubbed money-spinning trips in favour of his annual routine of going to a small and private spa resort in Austria.
