Arsenal remain hopeful of signing Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic before the transfer deadline.

The Croatian has handed in a transfer request last week.

The Gunners had originally made a loan offer with an option to buy, which Inter rejected.

However, the London Evening Standard reports that the two parties have continued negotiations as they are both hoping to find an agreement.

Inter reportedly want £35million for the 29-year-old, who was a long-term target for Manchester United.

The Red Devils no longer hold an interest in the former Wolfsburg man.
