Arsenal has announced an agreement with cloud video editing platform Blackbird, which will see the two collaborate on a range of short-form digital content, reports Sport Business.
With the Premier League currently shut down due to the Covid-19 pandemic, in the immediate-term the partnership will focus on producing content based on archival footage, providing the club with greater ways to engage fans across its digital and social media channels while live action remains suspended.
Blackbird chief executive Ian McDonough said: "Like many teams with discerning global fan bases, [Arsenal] have distributed video creators across multiple sites. With Blackbird they solve the puzzle of working collaboratively and remotely while turning around high-quality content quickly and cost effectively."
