Arsenal's move for Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez has stalled over his fee.

The Mirror says Arsenal could miss out on signing Suarez after failing to agree a fee with the club.

The Gunners are prepared to sign the forward on loan this month with a view to a permanent move in the summer.

But they are only willing to pay £15million at the end of the season while Barcelona are demanding more.

Talks are continuing but hopes are fading that Arsenal can complete a move before next Thursday's deadline.

Suarez has been left out of Barcelona's squad for the first leg of their Copa del Rey quarter-final against Sevilla on Wednesday.

His place has been taken by Kevin Prince-Boateng after his loan move from Sassuolo.
