Arsenal ahead of Man Utd in battle for Belgian teen David Henen

Arsenal have stolen a march on Manchester United in the battle for Anderlecht teen David Henen.

The Daily Star says the north London side have opened negotiations for the 18-year-old and are hoping to beat Premier League rivals Manchester United to the talented Belgian youngster.

Henen has been touted as a star of the future for the les Diables Rouges and United have been keeping tabs on his development.

But the Gunners are understood to have opened talks with Anderlecht and are hoping a deal worth £1m will be enough to secure the exciting forward, which will also include add-ons and a season long-loan back to his former club.
