Arsenal and Real Madrid have agreed a loan deal for Martin Odegaard.

The Norwegian will undergo a medical within the next 48 hours, per Sky Sports.

Odegaard asked to leave Real this month after playing just nine times in all competitions this season.

The Gunners will have the attacking midfielder until the end of the season.

Real Sociedad were keen for the 22-year-old to re-join the club after spending last season on loan in San Sebastian.

However, Real were keen to send Odegaard to a club outside of La Liga.
