Arsenal and Atletico Madrid could be close to agreeing on a loan deal for Lucas Torreira.
The defensive midfielder wants out of the club as he is not settled in England.
While Arsenal would prefer a permanent deal to raise funds, they may have to settle for a loan.
According to AS, a deal between Arsenal and Atleti is agreed.
It will be an initial one year loan, with the Spanish club having the option to sign Torreira permanently for £22 million.
But the clause is not an obligation, which means Arsenal will have to hope Torreira impresses in La Liga.
