Arsenal are hoping to seal a deal for Miguel Almiron before Wednesday's transfer deadline.
The Sun is of the belief that the Gunners are showing significant interest in the Lanus attacking midfielder who comes with a transfer valuation of £11million.
22-year-old Almiron, who debuted for Paraguay at this summer's Copa America, has been with Lanus since last August and has already made close to 30 appearances for the Argentine outfit.
It is understood that Arsene Wenger wants to complete a deal for Almiron, who operates mainly as a left winger, after the high profile transfers of Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez are confirmed on Tuesday.
