Mesut Ozil is guaranteed a stunning £31 MILLION from Arsenal - even if he never plays for the club again.
The midfielder is the higher earner at the Gunners after penning a £350,000-a-week deal under former manager Arsene Wenger in 2018.
The Sun says Ozil has insisted that he will see out his Arsenal contract, which still has two years to run until the summer of 2021.
And that means that the Gunners will be shelling out another £350k a week to keep the German on their books for the 89 weeks until his deal expires.
That is a total of £31.15m for a player who has only featured in two of Arsenal's 11 games this season and has been left out of the last three matchday squads entirely.
