Arsenal ace Aubameyang offered £300,000-a-week to quit for China

Arsenal are facing an uphill battle to keep star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after the club's top scorer received a £300,000-a-week offer from an unnamed Chinese team according to reports.

The Gunners front man has been a revelation for the club following his move from Borussia Dortmund for £56 million. The 29-year-old has quickly become the club's leading marksman having scored 41 goals in his 65 appearances.

Prior to his move to the Emirates, Aubameyang was close to joining Guangzhou Evergrande for £62 million.

According to reports, Guangzhou and Shanghai SIPG both believe they can lure the Gunners striker away from the club with an offer of £300,000 a week. Aubameyang is currently on a wage of £190,000, with two years remaining on his current deal.
