Arsenal academy chief Liam Brady is delighted seeing Jack Wilshere and Kieran Gibbs in the England squad.
Fabio Capello's current squad contains four players who have passed through Arsenal's Academy - Ashley Cole, Theo Walcott, Gibbs and Wilshere.
"It is great news for the Academy," Brady told Arsenal.com.
"It is great news for Jack and for Kieran and I am sure they will handle it very well.
"When I didn't see them in the England Under-21 squad I thought they would make the senior side. It seems Capello is making a statement that he wants to bring new blood in.
"It reflects very well for the Academy to have two players picked for England. And remember we [developed] Ashley Cole as well."
