Arminia Bielefeld have confirmed planned trials for Burnley striker Besart Berisha.

The player has a background in the German game after a spell at Hamburg earlier in his career.

Berisha has now joined Bielefeld for a trial, as have Dortmund's Giovanni Federico and Toulouse misfit Pavel Fort.

Bielefeld's new manager Thomas Gerstner told Neue Westfalische Zeitung: "We are having a look at several players these next few days.

"All are joining us for a trial period and one of these lads is Besart Berisha."
