Armenian president Sargsyan in Man City talks about football development

Armenian president Armen Sargsyan has been in talks with Manchester City.

Sargsyan was in England as a guest of the club last week and took in City's 2-2 draw with Tottenham. City are interested in helping with Armenian football development.

"(City chairman Khaldoon) Al-Mubarak told president Sargsyan about the activities of The City Football Group holding, which owns the English club Manchester City.

"In this context, the possibilities of implementing programs aimed at developing football in Armenia were discussed," the press service of the president told RIA Novosti.

Sargsyan also visited the City Academy and was given a run down on the workings of the club's youth system.
