Ariedo Braida is on the brink of leaving his job with Barcelona.

The former AC Milan transfers chief has been with the club for five years.

RAC1 says Braida's lawyer Juan de Dios Crespo was at Barca's offices on Monday.

Crespo was there to work on a termination of the 73-year-old's contract. His deal still has two years to run.

Prior to his tenure at Camp Nou, Braida spent 27 years as Milan's general manager between 1986 and 2013.
