Manchester City's Argentine contingent of Pablo Zabaleta, Sergio Aguero and Martin Demichelis will be absent during the club's early pre-season preparations

The City players will be reporting back to the club's training base for pre-season preparations on Monday but Zabaleta, Aguero and Demichelis will be absent.

The trio are currently in Chile for Argentina's Copa America campaign and they will be handed an extended break of around three weeks before they return to training.

Brazil's Fernandinho, whose side have already been knocked out from the Copa America, is also expected to be missing.
