Everton target Santiago Sosa is now in the process of securing a UK work permit.

Clarin says a £15m fee has been agreed between Everton and River Plate with the Argentinian outfit looking to balance their books.

Agent Hernan Berman has travelled to London to iron out work permit issues the report states.

Sosa's Argentina under-20 coach Fernando Batista also claimed a move to the Blues was 'advanced' this week when speaking to press in his homeland.

The midfielder has been the subject interest from Everton since the New Year.
