Argentina coach Sergio Batista has taken a pop at Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.

Batista did include Tevez in his Copa America squad.

But also remarked: "I was a lover of Tevez a few years ago.

"The player was able to dribble past two defenders and then score. Now he's popular with the public for other things."

Batista added: "He likes to run and make tackles.

"Maybe he's forgotten what his most important qualities are."
