Argentina boss Lionel Scaloni has claimed that Sergio Aguero often sits out of full training at Manchester City.
Aguero has been involved in most of City's games this season, managing eight goals in as many games this term.
But he is carrying an injury, according to his international boss.
Scaloni spoke about Aguero and said to reporters: "Sergio Aguero is not here because he's been carrying a problem and has not been training 100 per cent with his club."
It is unclear what injury is troubling Aguero and whether he will be fit for his club's next Premier League game after the international break.
The 31-year-old is still one of the key players at the Etihad Stadium club, and will be needed if City are to catch up on the eight point deficit to Liverpool in the Premier League table.
