Anzhi coach Gadzhi Gadzhiev is confident Samuel Eto'o will hit the ground running once he completes his move from Inter Milan.
Eto'o is set to join Anzhi on a world record contract, but Gadzhiev insists he will fit in quickly with his squad.
"He has done all the preseason with Inter, I'm not afraid for him," said the Anzhi coach.
"Samuel is not arriving just for advertising, but he's a player who will take Anzhi to the highest levels within two or three years."
Asked if he had been kept up-to-speed on negotiations, Gadzhiev also told FCInterNews.it: "I know nothing. I have no new information. I won't know until it actually happens."
