Antoine Griezmann is convinced of only good times ahead at Barcelona.

The Frenchman stated that players such as these come around once in a generation, as well as noting the way in which people view the entire sport through one individual.

"He's the number one in football, like LeBron [James] in basketball," Griezmann told Barca TV when asked about Lionel Messi.

"LeBron is the image of basketball and the NBA, just like Messi is the image of football.

"They have something different to the other players, something that happens once in 30 years."

The forward is promising entertainment ahead of next season.

"We're going to have fun, on and off the pitch," Griezmann said. "That's what I'm here for. I'm going to help in any way I can.

"I'm already looking forward to playing in front of my new fans.

"You know me, I'm one of those who leaves everything on the pitch."
