Antalyaspor midfielder Nuri Sahin admits he's long missed Liverpool.
Sahin spent a season on-loan at Liverpool from Borussia Dortmund.
He recalled to Goal: "It was such a well-organised club with fantastic people. I'm still in touch with many of them. They helped me and my family in a way I had never seen before. They made sure we adapted, that we enjoyed ourselves.
"The only problem was that Dortmund called me and said 'come back if you want', and at that stage I think everyone can understand that I did not get the minutes I wanted in Liverpool. Dortmund asked me and I saw the potential for a good season there.
"Therefore, I returned, to be back with my team, my friends and my family. That was my only reason. I really fell in love with Liverpool, the fans, the arena, Melwood. Melwood was the place I felt at home. It was built to feel at home. It was so nice. But I hope everyone can understand, then Dortmund was a better place for me."
