Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is ready to enter media silence.

Marca says Ronaldo is set to remain silent and avoid speaking to the media for the time being, given his frustration with recent events.

"I say one thing and you print another, what do you want me to say?" he told reporters in the mixed zone on Tuesday night after Real's win over APOEL Nicosia.

The Portuguese star feels annoyed that the press have singled both himself and his club teammates out for some recent criticism and will refuse to speak as a result.

He has let those within his inner circle and the club hierarchy know about his intentions to remain silent indefinitely.
