Angers midfielder Jeff Reine-Adelaide is happy for Matteo Guendouzi over his success at Arsenal.
Just as Guendouzi was arriving from FC Lorient, Reine-Adelaide was sold to Angers last summer.
He told Foot Mercato: "I did not know a lot about him. But he's had a very good start to the season.
"I will just advise him to continue as he is because he is having a good start to the season, and having fun on the field."
On whether Arsenal's academy is good for French youngsters, Reine-Adelaide was circumspect.
He added: "I do not know if it's up to me to give them that advice. I did not 'succeed' there. So everyone has his career, everyone follows his path. Maybe someone else will go there and succeed directly."
