Juventus hero Angelo di Livio has slammed the treatment of the club this season.

Juve have been penalised 10 points for their capital gains scandal, which saw the board and former president Andrea Agnelli resign.

Juve will now miss Champions League qualification after the points penalty was imposed last week.

Di Livio told TMW: "From the beginning, we understood how they were going to totally massacre Juve. It was a difficult year, the sensations were like those of Calciopoli: there too everyone spoke to everyone, but only one team was punished.

"It seemed very ridiculous to me. For the future, instead of (Max) Allegri, I would like Antonio Conte, apart from friendship. I really liked him so much, for the game expressed and for the energy he transmitted to the group, then there were some misunderstandings and he left. Conte has the Juventus soul inside, I have no doubts about that."
