Dean Lovren hailed the Liverpool fans in the wake of Thursday night's commanding 3-0 victory over Villarreal.
The Reds dominated proceedings in the Europa League semi-final second leg to book their place in the final with a 3-1 aggregate triumph.
Once again, the atmosphere at Anfield was electric as it always is on European nights, prompting defender Lovren to heap praise on the supporters for going above and beyond their helpful performance in the quarter-final second leg against Borussia Dortmund.
"It was a beautiful game," he told LFC TV.
"I think everyone enjoyed to watch the game but we didn't expect this result.
"But to be honest, we believed form the beginning. Before the game it was everything possible here at Anfield and it's tough for every opponent to play here and to expect something.
"The 12th player helped us today. It waster fans, the atmosphere was really, really amazing, even better than against Dortmund. It was an amazing game."
