Andres Guardado has signed a new deal with Real Betis.
The Mexican veteran has penned new terms to 2022, having joined Betis in 2017 from PSV Eindhoven for €2m.
The 33 year-old El Tri captain, ahead of today's media presentation, declared: "Four years ago Maximo came into my life, the first of my children. He taught me that the family is the best.
"Two years later I had that same feeling, the feeling of living at the most: wearing the shirt of Real Betis, playing in Benito Villamarín, shouting goal like a verdiblanco, the Betica family. It is the best. Renew and continue two more years with these colors, that is the maximum."
