Andreas Pereira desperate for more Man Utd action after losing return

Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira is desperate for more action after being part of defeat at Champions League opponents Valencia.

Pereira started his first game for Jose Mourinho's side since the defeat against Brighton in August and played the full 90 minutes as United fell to a 2-1 defeat in Valencia in their final Champions League group game.

And having finally pushed his way back in to the starting XI following a long spell in the stands Pereira is hungry for more action.

"I am hungry for more and trying to do my best to try and be involved each week," he told MUTV after the game.

On who United could get in the round of 16, Pereira was confident.

"It is good for us we are looking forward to the next stages in the Champions League and we will do everything to go past it," he said.

"We have to face a big club but we don't forget we are a big club as well so we are going to do our best and try to win it."
